Back when MCI was in existence, it had a sales incentive called the Masters Program. MCI would reward it’s top sales representatives each year with a seminar/vacation at desirable resort locations around the country. Those in the top predetermined percent were then sent a beautiful package containing a congratulatory letter and a customized “wallet” containing things such as their plane tickets, itineraries, luggage tags and custom event literature. Upon arrival the recipient would receive gifts with custom cards, and an awards booklet that many would frame in a shadow box.
While designing these pieces, I tried to capture the desert beauty of the Palm Springs Spa through photography, paper choice and die cut techniques.
